The base features a velvet lined silver tray on full extension guides behind the right facing door, A reversible wood shelf behind each door is presented with wine storage on one side that will hold up to 10 bottles of wine. The doors showcase the dramatic interplay of sliced hickory veneers with a highly figured maple burl diamond motif and border. The artful use of the different veneers adds richness to the elegant design. The figured maple burl central motif is outlined with a curved walnut inlay to emphasize the beauty of the burl. Collection Description
The Traditions collection takes a fresh approach to classic forms with a design that is refined, but not formal or stuffy. Inspiration was drawn from classic, European architectural forms. Traditions is just the right mix of sophisticated Old World design and 21st century comfort. Edges of lateral rails are pulled outward and protrude past the face of the case. These are then shaped with cove and ovalo detailing with a look that is softened and builds into a layered look. Case fronts are shaped with a gentle serpentine movement. An artful use of moldings and overlays add a rich and dramatic feel to the pieces within the collection.
